"I stayed at Hotelito Azul with my wife and 2-year-old son in Jan 2025. Our stay was wonderful. Once you get in you feel you’re really in a tropical dream world. The vibe is very chill and relaxing from the moment you’re in the reception area. The grounds are gorgeous and you always feel you’re in a jungle wherever you’re going (from the reception area to the room, pool, beach, etc). The room decoration is in a sophisticated rustic style without compromising comfort. The 2 pools and the 2 jacuzzis are located on the rooftop, which offer a fantastic 360 view of the ocean at the front and the jungle in the back. The staff is friendly and very professional offering an efficient service. GRISELDA, the lady who would clean our room was very friendly and make a different surprise to our son everyday (she would fold the towels in different shapes such as a dog or a dino, which our son loved). We had only an issue that was quickly resolved: there was a bit loud music on the rooftop and the baby couldn’t fall asleep, but once I asked the staff they turned down the volume. After that, I could only hear the sea waves and the wind on the palm trees. The hotel grounds leads directly on to the beach which is gorgeous with white sand and warm blue water. They have two restaurants (Olivia and Agave) with great food. One should only be aware of the prices that are on par with what you pay in an expensive city like NYC. Also, breakfast is not included."

"Wonderful boutique hotel with uniquely designed bungalows stunning views onto the ocean. Direct access to most wonderful sandy beach . Excellent breakfast included . Staff is outstanding! Many restaurants to choose from in easy walking distance ( they are all a little pricy however). Watch out: this is a music event area with several beach clubs playing electronic music long into the evening/ through the nigjt. If you are looking for absolute quiet then this may not be your place. Avoid January as the traffic on the small beach road can be bumper to bumper. "

"The property was a beautiful property located strategically close enough to beach clubs with loud music and far enough to have a relaxing time if required. Still walking distance from all the nice clubs and restaurants. Do yourself a favor and make sure you take a room with all view of The ocean. Sunrise is just stunning in Tulum. "
