"Stayed at this hotel for an evening before boarding a cruise. Very close to the airport and the port. The staff were very friendly and helpful as our flight landed very late and could not check in until 2am. We didn’t explore the area around the hotel as we had to leave early the next day but we would definitely consider staying here again if we find ourselves back in San Juan! "

"The two negative points that I found out was that did not refill the shampoo and conditioner bottle before giving us the room and they wouldn’t let you have your breakfast on the roof top. Why?? nobody could logically explain) I think that when someone is paying for staying, it is to enjoy a full capacity, all the areas hotel has to offer. Great location and Plenty restaurants around."

"This location is convenient to the Plaza Colon. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. The host really helped out when I found two ladies just outside looking for their accommodations that turned out to be bogus. So our host was able to accommodate them even though it was REALLY late at night when I sent the message. The apartment we stayed in was clean and comfortable. There is even an (ancient) elevator that we used for our heavy luggage. Wonderful visit!"

"This was the last stop in our family Puerto Rico trip having spent 4 days on the eastern coast and 3 days in Culebra. I felt the location was excellent for exploring Old San Juan. The main issue with the hotel was the lack of parking and unfortunately our stay coincided with the beginning of the San Sebastian festival which meant than any parking normally available was non existent!! Thankfully the manager was able to help us as we were at the point of cancelling our reservation and looking...

"Hotel el Covento is very well located, close to all sorts of dining and shopping locales and next to the Cathedral. It's colonial architecture gives it a very special charm and the staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant food and waitresses are really good.
