"Great location, very convenient, close to subway. Like the skydeck on the top floor of the building, but the swimming pool was closed for a few days due to the new year celebration. The renovation of the hotel is grand but lack of some details: i.e. hard to find electric outlet for hairdryer and shower door could not close properly. All other things about the hotel are good."

"We love our stay at The Ascott Star KLCC and would definitely recommend the hotel. Facilities are great, the rooftop restaurant and swimming pool are great, they have a fully equipped gym and a second swimming pool in the 6th floor, views to the Petronas Towers and the rooms are large with everything you would need to feel just like home. Above all else, the staff is very helpful and friendly. "

"Loved the 2 bed apartment, without doubt this would receive 5 stars if it wasn’t for the terrible sound proofing between floors. I was kept awake for 2 out of 3 nights because of noisy people in the apartment above. You could even hear chairs being moved. Otherwise it was a great spot, small grocery store on ground level that sells most everything you need on holiday. For consideration you are only provided one set of keys so if traveling with a group, enquire with the hotel first. "

"We stayed 8 nights in a 2 Bedroom Premium Suite which was serviced daily by housekeeper Hussin. He was very good, very attentive, checking if everything was ok I was extremely pleased with his service and happy personality. Our room included 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, one kitchen and one lounge room. I especially liked the washer/dryer in the suite for my long stay. All rooms had a city view. "It’s is probably the best stay I ever had in any country. Location is superb with monorail linked, a mall with plenty of grocery and dining options, location right in the the heart of city, brand new facilities like swimming pool and gym, polite staff. 5 star for me all the way. Thank you. "

"The ac and fan not working when we arrived. the wall was dirty. they left a dead plant in the apartment. one of the cushions was busted. the closet door only opened halfway - badly designed. tge freezer stink with durian odor left by previous tenant. "Stayed here the second time. This time for 3 nights. Hot water was not available. We put up the clean-up-room sign but when we returned the room was not cleaned or tidied up. Only replaced towels and took out rubbish. Room (one bedroom suite) was spacious and next to a shopping mall. "
