Nice little hotel in a great, quiet location by Pranburi beach and not far from Khao Kalok. There's also a 7-Eleven very close by for convinence. The food in the cafe is especially excellent.
The only slight problem during our stay was that the usual location for the cafe and reception area was being demolished as part of renovations. While this didn't cause any issues or sound problems for us at all while we were in the room, it was something we weren't made aware of in advance. I'm sure when the renovations are complete it will be an improvement.

Good hotel
It was a solid 3 star Thailand hotel. It’s older, so things are outdated and look dirty. But, it was a more than decent hotel, and I would stay there again.
It was a huge disappointment! Our room did not have a single chair or table; the furniture (bed + wardrobe without shelves or hangers) and tiny TV stand were in a bad shape (chipped and mildewy); the towels were grayish with stains; the bathroom sink was "shedding" paint flakes; there was no hot water in a shower and sink. We paid $151 per night (including all taxes; high season) and for that amount you can find better hotels in Pranburi or Hua Hin. The photographs that you see on the Hotels.com website do NOT reflect the condition of rooms and the premises at all! We also had a communication problem--the staff's English was extremely limited. If you need to book a taxi or have questions about how to get to places, go across the street to Villa Maroc--great and very helpful front desk manager; great restaurant, too. Next time, wewill stay there (more expensive hotel but worth every penny).
