"The Elm is good value for money. Its facilities are basic, but it has almost everything that a motel room needs. The bed was comfortable, the shower was hot, and the towels were clean and soft. The only aspect of the room that I found lacking was that there was no 'mesh' curtain on the window so during the day the choice was between the blind being down with no daylight coming in, or the blind being up with full visibility from outside into the room. "

"I loved my stay at Julie Anna. The room was beautiful, the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept in and the pillow wasnt the usual brick in regular hotel, it was so lovely and soft. The garden area was delightful too. I definitely recommend you stay there. You won't regret it."

"I booked the stay at this hotel, as Cosentino The Grand Illusionist performed his show, Decennium, at Ulumbarra Theatre. This hotel was perfect and a short distance from the venue, so that’s why I chose this hotel over others in the area."

"We have chosen to stay in Hotel Shamrock for our 46th wedding anniversary because of its central position and a wonderful feel of yesteryear (we also stayed here in 2018). We were upgraded to Nellie Melba room. A lovely gesture on the part of hotel staff. The room was so spacious we could dance a night away here. The hotel has a few “wrinkles” and “saggy” bits here and there, but the charm is irreplaceable. We will be coming back next year for the irreplaceable charm of the old world and the friendliness and kindness of the staff."
