Loved that was by the water. Loved that the fridge was big enough and had a microwave and sandwich maker. Didn’t like that there’s no wardrobe for our clothes and that the walls are not thick enough. If you have noisy neighbours you can hear them

Quiet little town.
The room smelt of smoke which wasn’t pleasant , no signs to say NO SMOKING. Which I think they should have because people still think they can smoke!!
Room and facilities were ok. Areas like windows hadn't been cleaned in a long time but get what you pay for. Ceiling was covered in plaster patching and room obviously had smokers in it at some point. On the other hand, beds were super comfortable and linen was super clean and fresh. All decor issues aside we enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.
Room was very clean and well appointed. Walls are very thin, so couple next door with young child were well known to us at 5am! Asking for customers to call two days prior to arrival is fine, providing you are not from overseas, as we are, as we have no working phone while in Australia. Email would allow contact. A bottle opener would have been useful. The coffee machine and pods were a nice touch
The view from the motel is amazing. The room was very comfy and everything you needed was supplied. The bathroom was an old one partially renovated but everything worked well and was clean. Plenty of room out front for parking.
The Port Albert is all about location. It suited our purpose well for an overnight stay and wind down before travelling on. The motel is located on the esplanade of Port Albert and within walking distance to everything in the town. We hope to visit again and look forward to seeing any developments that may take place. Port Albert a great place for history buffs!

Everything clean and nice until there was a mouse stealing biscuits in front of us while we were watching tv😩
When quietly mentioned to the care taker, we received no apology just told that’s what happens when you leave the door open to room 5. Apparently there have been echidnas and koalas in the room which I would have preferred actually.
Comfortable accomodation. Easy check in and friendly although remote reception. Fairly clean basic room. Well equipped for a basic motel room. Free wifi but Telstra let the place down, constantly dropping out for hours at a time.
