"This lovely old hotel has both a gracious staff and classical Mexican accommodations. The furnishings highlight old world charm and exquisite taste. There is wonderful artwork throughout the property, and the rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are beautifully appointed, and the staff took excellent care of us. Breakfast was so delicious and filling that we couldn’t eat again until dinner. One of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed in."

"The check-in was smooth. They reached out to us earlier asking when we would arrive. The room is very nice. We had tacos and empanadas by the pool at the on-site restaurant. Service and food are excellent."

"It was nice. Great location-very close to the main plaza. We got the room that had three beds and a full kitchenette. It was called La Perla. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool is nice and the facilities are great. The included breakfast was exceptional, but it did take a long time. There was also secure parking, which was nice."

"An excellent hotel in Mérida. The villa-like atmosphere and architecture was matched only by the attentiveness of the staff. Wake up to a morning swim at the manicured crystal watered pool and follow with breakfast....or just a short walk to several coffee shops nearby. On a quiet street, but just a few blocks to the heart of the old town district. Highly recommend Casa Destino Antelar "

"The staff and the business owner were simply lovely and really responsive when I have a question or demand. The place was clean, really nice and i wish I could have more time to enjoy it. It's a bit further away from the centre, but I recommend a lot, a really nice and sweet place with lovely people working there."

"We loved Zamna. The staff was great- very helpful and respectful of our privacy. Morning breakfast was very good. The only problem was that the beds were very hard. If that’s what you like, then Zamna is perfect. "

"I am very happy to have stayed at Courtyard Marriott for my vacations. Housekeeping was outstanding never missed a beat cleaning daily. The staff very professional and friendly.The hotel restaruant was very convenient for having breakfast before heading out sight seeing. The Bar by the pool was great. Definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Merida. "

"This colonial style hotel has character! We loved our balcony in room 319 that overlooked the street! We were a 5 minute walk to the Gran Plaza, 5 minutes to the restaurant Chaya Maya, a 10 minute walk to the giant city market, and about a 20 minute walk to Paseo De Montejo and Parque De La Plancha! We enjoyed cooling off in the aberca/picina/pool! It was about 5 feet deep and 20 feet long. The room had a mini fridge that we kept stocked with cold drinks and there was a lot of stores and restaurants all around us! We enjoyed the hotel’s excellent coffee shop, but never did try their restaurant. All the staff were very friendly, welcoming, helpful and smiled a lot. Thanks to everyone! Muchas gracias todos! John & Pat"
