"Good standard hotel in calms surroundings with short walk to Grand Place. Comfortable bed. Gym closes early on weekends, which is a minus. No access to sauna but to a lukewarm splashing pool and a small yakuze which is busy most of the time."

"I'm vacating my apartment in mons so have been staying at a number of local hotels. Stayed in room 113 for a week. My only negative is no aircon which would be a nightmare in the summer, they do supply a big noisy fan. Perhaps B&B who are new owners will install aircon? Other than that it was an excellent stay, free coffee downstairs 24/7 and a room with a bath. We didn't bother with breakfast as plenty of shops/cafes in Mons. Very comfortable bed, i slept very well. Would recommend the B&B...

"Bin in bathroom had previous occupants rubbish. Bin in bedroom not emptied during entire stay. Pubic hairs in corner of bathroom, still there 5 days later. Sheets not changed for 5 nights despite cut elbow blood on sheets on first night and 27-30 degree heat. If opened window before 10pm fumes from next door extractor fan enveloped room and no air con available just fan for 30 degree heat. "

"This was the nicest place to stay, we hade the quadruple room on the ground floor and it was perfect for us. The bed was great as it was adjustable. We had arrived early after an overnight ferry and the host was happy to give us access well before the check in time , which meant we could have an unexpected trip to Brussels (which he helped us with, giving us advice on the local trains etc).. "Lovely stay. Beautifully decorated and fabulous breakfast. Room was at the top of a steep staircase with no lift so caution to those who might struggle with that. Otherwise beautiful place in a nice quiet town. "

"I'm currently preparing to vacate my apartment in Mons after a few years working in Belgium. Stayed Saturday night at the B&B Mons Gare room 207. The young man on reception was incredibly helpful, Joffrey. Our room was very large with a bath. There were a couple of wedding parties in but we had a great nights sleep. Breakfast was fine with some hot options for us Brits. I never used the hotel when it was run by IBIS but would recommend. We didn't have a car but the car park looked easy to use. Not in the best part of Mons but we know the area well."
