"Booked a non-smoking room six months in advance but got a room that a smoker had used the hotel did try to rectify by giving it a deep clean but a day later the smell was back again. We put up with it for the extra three days of ou stay, breakfast was just possible for Hilton hotel I would’ve expected more Good shopping centre across the road from HOTEL extra shout out to Mustafa the bell boy who was extremely helpful with all our needs. Going the extra mile to help with our needs and requests....

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Des Etrangers - a small unique boutique hotel. The staff are excellent - friendly, helpful, and personable. The daily breakfast is superb. The hotel is located amongst a vibrant restaurant/bar/ shopping area and within walking distance to the local ferry and attractions. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel for a stay. Noise from other venues in the evenings can be an issue but it did not concern us. "

"The staff were extremely helpful and so friendly. The ladies cooking breakfast were so kind. We couldn’t work out the washing machine and they were so fast to come and help. They hung up our washing while we were doing the all-day Gallipoli tour. Fantastic service all round for an older hotel. "

It's just a short walk from both the ancient site of Troy and (in the opposite direction) the Troy Museum. "Totally awesome hotel located on the historic site of Troy only a half a dozen kilometers from the archaeological museum on one side and a dozen from the city of Çhanakkale on the other. Excellent amenities with a pool, spa, restaurant, and private beach! Definitely the place to stay if you like quality."
