"Beware - I booked through Expedia but will not do that again as when couldn’t get a flight in time for the first day, and I tried to change the booking to arrive the second day of my week long stay, it cancelled the whole booking and re-booked at a much higher rate. "We had a fantastic stay at La Bohème! Staff were friendly and helpful, the rooms were spacious and clean with plenty of outlets and the breakfast was delicious. There is a fair bit of noise that comes through the bedroom windows from people in the streets below, but not much anyone can do about that. "

"The location of this property is amazing, although a little difficult to find if you're using Google Maps. As its on the opposite side and end of the lane than shown. My host for the stay, Franca, has been lovely and offered some great suggestions of things to see/do on arrival. The rooms themselves are beautifully decorated, however I found the bedding and pillows particularly uncomfortable. Also, the rooms are not soundproof at all, which is understandable given the age of the building....

"It was kind of hard to find initially. There is no parking close by, but that is pretty typical for most places in Italy. The owner was friendly and helpful. The stay was nice and clean. Cute place overall. I would definitely return and recommend to others. Lucca historical center is a very quaint place to stay. I enjoyed my visit! "

"We enjoyed our stay at Albergo Celide. The staff was friendly and a great help in setting us up with bikes that we were able to use for the full day to ride around the city. We were grateful to be able to check in at the last minute after having to leave a awful hotel that we were originally booked in by Travelodeals."
