"Had a lovely stay at the Robinson Club Resort - especially the location and the excellent local staff. As an adult, non-German solo traveller, I was a bit disappointed that activities (yoga / outdoor workouts) were facilitated mainly in German, and that there were a lot of noisy children everywhere - especially at the evening entertainment that I had expected to be for adults. Otherwise it’s a nice hotel with great facilities and amazing staff."

"Beachfront location. About a 10min walk to the shopping area but hotel provides frew buggy transport. Bit expensive to eat and drink in the hotel compared to local restaurants/bars. Hotel room well stocked with toiletries, hairdryer, coffee machine etc and minibar (but only the water free). Staff are fantastic especially Wallie and Tea. Quieter area of Khao Lak compared to the Bang Niang area but only a short taxi/tuk tuk ride away. "

"Beautiful property and the room upgrade was to a suite which was amazing for us as a family of 3. Very quiet location, close by to coconut beach, 15 min drive, this is a must visit beach during a stay here. Great couple of massage places just outside of the hotel on the beach, and a cute little restaurant. "

"Larger than expected with mostly families. Zillions of children and breakfast mayhem. This is a lovely hotel but maybe not ideal in high season unless you’ve got small children. Most of the guests were Russian. Breakfast is a bunfight although the fare is excellent and the staff are absolutely on point when it comes to turning round the tables. "The hotel is beautiful and very clean. The pool area was very slippery, felt unsafe every time we stepped out of the pool. Not very convenient for families with babies. No child pool, and the kids club is very small leaving the kids bored. There wasn’t a lot near the hotel you have to take a taxi to the town , 20 min drive usually 400 baht a direction , so 800 both ways. The breakfast was nice addition. "Nice size hotel but on a very narrow plot. The beds on the beach were about six rows deep and the ones around the pool were four deep. The sun beds were good but the umbrellas were too small to supply enough shade and you couldn’t move them. Breakfast was good although coffee from the machines was average. "Great location from the beach, and numerous pools, approx. 10 min walk to the high street with shops and many restaurants, great family rooms and nice selection for breakfast buffet. Had lunch a few times and kids eat free when there are paying adults, a nice touch. "

"This property is stunning-the landscaping and interior design is exceptional. The grounds are gorgeous and rooms take advantage of that. Honestly it is one of the more beautiful properties I’ve ever seen. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and a delight to relax in. There are 3 pools to choose from with plenty of seating. The resorts in this area are kept unobtrusive to the beach so there is just a long stretch of walkable beach front. You can walk to close by ‘village’ dining or other resorts. You are more out of the way geographically so its very quiet and peaceful. People we spoke to come back there year after year for weeks at a time and love it. The staff is amazing. I would definitely stay there again "
