"The hotel is great for a quick trip to Liverpool and is in a great downtown location. It’s not well signposted and being downtown there’s lots of city noise. However we’ll come back again for the space and the massive breakfast!"

"Me and my partner stayed at the Pembroke Studios for a 2 night stay in Liverpool as we was going to watch a show on the Saturday night the hotel staff was brilliant they helped me carry my bags upto the 4th floor gave me instructions how to get to places in Liverpool it’s only 0.4 miles to the centre location was good the room was very clean and tidy would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again."

"I booked a studio room due to work commitments this weekend. Upon arrival I was told to go through all the lock boxes and just see which room was available. Owner confirmed all rooms are the same. The room had, a bed, a dresser and a wardrobe… that’s it. Kitchen was communal, as was the washroom?! Yes we had a key to the washroom but so did everyone else and we had to walk down a shared corridor to get to it. The entrance stunk of weed and cigarette smoke despite a clear “no smoking” clause...

"The suite was everything we expected and more. The staff were incredibly polite and friendly. My only suggestion is to make the hotel sign more visible as you can’t see it at all when driving down the one way street. Also, sending the parking directions and codes beforehand would have been a great help. Otherwise, very comfortable, great location and lovely apartment. "

"Stayed a few times in different epic hotels this time it was duke street townhouse the room was big lots of space , beds were comfy only one complaint it was far too hot even with the windows open not sure if air con was working ,myself and my husband had headaches in the morning from the heat apart from that it was a fab place too stay "

"First time at Terlon, our usual haunt round the corner was full. Previous reviews were mixed, so wasn't sure what to expect, but it was definitely ok, a few piccy things that could have been better, such as a tea towel, ovenware and larger towels, but all in all, minor grumbles, and it was pleasant."

On the day we couldn’t find the property so spoke to someone on the phone for details. "Came for my birthday. Spacious apartment, mostly clean except a lot of the cutlery & plates but I cleaned them myself. Unfortunately the refrigerator wasn’t working and I did let them know but nothing was done. Check in and check out was confusing and not reception to ask questions to so had to phone them up multiple times. I don’t believe I’ve had my security deposit back either and it’s been over a week now. Average place."

"Prestige Hotel in a premier position as we were going to the Empire Theatre ! Room was fairly small but a king size bed and really nice shower/toilet en-suite ! My partner said she would have preferred if the dressing table had a mirror instead of having to use the bathroom mirror there was however a full length mirror in the room ! There isn’t any actual parking at the hotel but St John’s car park is very close by and only £6 per day ! I have one complaint! When I booked there was a promotion offering a free drink per person and as I paid in full over a month before my stay I expected this to be honoured ! However they apparently discontinued this before our stay so we didn’t receive this promotion! "
