"The communication was appalling. The phone number listed on hotels.com is wrong. I did not receive the email with the check in instructions. Once check in is done, you are supposed to receive an email with codes for the front door and the apartment door… I am still waiting for this email and I have already checked out. "We enjoyed our stay, especially our son who slept in the living room with its own door and TV. The bedroom also had a door and TV, and the bathroom worked well for us with plenty of hot water. Although the room furnishings are old and carpets stained, we were fine with the slippers the hotel provided. "I love this property!! To start with, I communicated with the hotel via Expedia messaging prior to my trip and Pestaña always responded and quickly at that. Upon arrival, I was able to check-in early which was much appreciated after a 15 hour journey. The staff was so nice at check-in and also throughout my stay. I called down once during my visit for some more Nespresso pods and housekeeping brought them to my room within five minutes. That is the kind of service Pestaña provides. The hotel was in the BEST location. I booked this hotel not knowing any of the neighborhoods but consider my self lucky for stumbling upon this gem. There no noise concern. Lastly, the hotel was absolutely adorable. My room was decorated beautifully and spacious enough for two people. Like I said, I love this hotel! I already made another reservation with Pestaña for another stay in 2 weeks…but this time in Spain!"

"The property is very clean and centrally located near stores and restaurants. It is about a 9 minute walk from the metro blue line. There are quite a few Asian restaurants specifically in this area. The rooms are quite large and very clean. The staff knows the area very well and can give good recommendations. "

"Amazing property in a historical building. The staff is super helpful. We extended our booking for a day but the room type we were in was sold out so we booked a deluxe (however didn’t want to move rooms). The front desk got us a free breakfast because we didn’t take the upgrade. Room service was spot on, including turn down service. "
