"The location is really a beautiful spot, right across from the beach. There is breakfast in the morning on the water and you can see the sunset from the balcony. My particular room on the 3rd floor was quite large and included a huge L-shaped sofa, table, and refrigerator. The balcony was spacious and a relaxing place to watch the sunset. Unfortunately the air conditioner in my room (307) did not work at all. I was busy most of the trip there so I didn't have a lot of time to track anyone down...

"The Mason is a beautiful, architectural hidden gem. 5 star service, a stunning location and huge modern pool villas. It’s right on the beach and you can’t get more beautiful than this. It’s a bit far away from anything which is both good and bad, and it will cost approx 300-400 baht in a grab taxi or 500 via the hotel and about 30 mins to get to Pattaya. It’s about 10-15 mins from jomtien beach and you can’t walk to anywhere so will definitely need transport. The staff held a lovely NYE...

"The manager and staff were very accommodating and nice, the view and easy access to the beach was wonderful. The room had everything we needed, water bottles were always available. The street noise was a little loud in the morning but put earplugs in or turn up the fan on the AC, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. Also it was so nice to be greeted by the house cat. "

I plan to stay here again. Highly recommended for families and couples seeking a quieter place to stay. Cons: I am a resident of Bangkok and I have an affordable cell phone plan. If you are from out of the country you may find the wifi a significant problem. I was unable to get it to work...

"I stayed in two different rooms. The first was nice but the second room on the 3rd floor as shown was the better of the two. I really liked my stay here and I would definitely do it again. The pool/s are certainly interesting and kids seem to really enjoy them. There were always people swimming but it was never crowded. 7-11 is close by and there is good street food just in front of it. The beach is a bit of a walk but there are some shops along the way. Sonia Residence seems to be a good value for the money."
