"Lovely place, friendly and helpful owner. The room was nicely decorated and there is a really nice, large terraced area on the roof that is perfect for a little a chill. We used the terrace on the day of our checkout to shower and change after the beach. There is a cafe and supermarket just around the corner. "

"Horrible motorcycle noises with parking lot outside window. No toaster. Awkward check-in done via automation and no easy to use. Prefer in person check-in. Little shelving in bathroom for personal items and towels Too few clothes hangars. Not exactly spotless. Dust and dirt. Very small table for eating. Really could not use at all. Microwave was confusing to use and no instructions for grill option. Great that safe was included! Convenient location. Iron & ironing board included."

"Easy digital check in and responsive staff. Love the bikes. Nice view from the balcony and very comfortable beds. The room is small but has everything you need including a safe. We were able to find street parking right at the hotel and it’s an easy walk to all of the bars and restaurants in central Nerja. "

"Funky hotel in a nice quiet location, yet only a few minutes walk from the beach and the main shopping area. Very good value. Breakfast was simple but with good quality items. Immaculately clean inside and out. Our only annoyance was the LCD controls for the sink - imagine coming back to your room and having to wait for the sink to boot up so you can wash your hands! A bit of a gimmick."

"We enjoyed our stay. The hostal was quiet, but that may be the time of year, which suited us. Its very convenient for access to the town centre and beaches. Staff friendly and helpful when we locked our keys in the room. We did not have a kettle or somewhere to keep nibbles which would have been nice. "

Just a few minor things- no bin in the room (only a tiny one in the bathroom), nothing to hang towels on in the bathroom, a few hooks on the back of the door would help! "We have just returned following a lovely long weekend in Nerja. 5 ladies travelled for a girls mini break. We had 2 bedrooms in Hotel Toboso Chaparil. A double and a triple room although the double also had 3 beds. The hotel is in a excellent location. Only a short stroll to beach and main town square/area.
