"From the outside you wouldn’t expect much from this hotel, but the pleasant girl at the front desk and the size of the rooms made this one of our favorite stays during our 10 day trip. "Very basic, no frills. It should, I feel, be made clear that you need to bring your own bedding and towels as by the time you've paid to hire these you could have stayed somewhere a lot better! You're also required to clean before you leave. Chalet clean enough apart from bathroom being rather smelly. "

"We stayed here as attending a friend's wedding and booked a triple room. What we got was a chalet with two separate bedrooms which was brilliant. Breakfast was in the castle cellar - plenty of choice and very nice quirky space. The food at the wedding was absolutely fantastic with great service. Best staff with large clean rooms!

The same girl who was at the front desk the night before was also there in the morning making everything for breakfast. She was amazing and actually gave us some food before we left. She was truly the reason this experience was so good!"
