"There's a ferry pier nearby. I love the area around this place. The park-like place in front is nice and quiet. It isn't crowded like in siam area. Both MRT and Bus station ares across the river and only five minutes away if you walk. There aren't many restaurants nearby. You gotta walk around 10 mins to chinatown for food. "This is a very basic hotel. But it is safe, clean, and comfortable. I had an inside, ensuite double room, which i think is probably much quieter than the rooms with windows, as they face the busy street and traffic. Breakfast is basic toast, cereal, and coffee/tea, served on the rooftop. Only drawback is there is no elevator. So, this is not the place for those with mobility issues. The staff was excellent -- friendly, helpful, and kind. Hotel is close to Pahurat Market, Sampeng Lane, China...

"Check in was difficult as the gentleman barely spoke English and instead of checking us in advised us incorrectly to go out of the grounds and come back out.
