"Very clean, simple and modern apartment hotel. Location is fine, 10-15min walk from Plaça d'Espanya. Booked the triple room with terrace and the room size was great for 3 people - amazed how much space there was. Room was super clean and kitchen facilities were great. I didn’t receive the Expedia VIP upgrade, but that’s fine as the room I booked was great either way. I did however receive a bottle of Cava. "Whilst this was a great apartment, close to everything including the metro and buses, it could have been more comfortable. The bed and sofa had seen better days, and the table and chairs were purely functional. The apartment front door would not lock from the inside, and the TV would not connect to the internet. For the money, I would expect a little more."

"What a great property! A perfect location right across from the market and easy Metro access. Las Ramblas is definitely a bit more lively and touristy but you can easily escape into the narrow and charming streets of the Gothic Quarter. Our family of four found the property to have plenty of space, it was clean, and nice to have a fridge to keep snacks. Would definitely book this again and plan on recommending to friends who are heading to the area. A great home base for all of your Barcelona...

"The Lamaro hotel is in the perfect location for walking throughout Barcelona's awesome streets. Hotel has a great rooftop area for drinks, food and pictures.Staff are EXCELENT in all aspects. Rooms are normal hotel type rooms with a safe, minibar and coffee pot. Shower has great pressure and hot as you can stand water. The tv channel selection isn't good for english. But it does have a couple streaming channels like youtube and netfix if you know your password.There is also a Restaurant on site, (But can't comment on that since we didn't eat there.) I would stay there again in a second. Thanks again Lamaro staff."
