"I couldn’t have picked a better hotel for walkability – the location was perfect! The spacious rooms offered plenty of room to relax, and the breakfast spread was excellent with lots of variety. Everything was clean and well-maintained, but the shower was the only downfall. Even as a small person, I found it a bit cramped. There was also a bit of mold in the shower due to limited ventilation, so a deep clean is my only recommendation. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend to anyone visiting Riga. I’d also like to add that as a solo female traveler I felt extremely safe here."

"I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this hotel. I expected that as an older building it would be somewhat outdated and old fashioned. In fact most of the facilities appeared to have been recently renovated from the huge triple room we had to the spa and the restaurant. Spa area is not huge but I enjoyed the wave machine in the pool and the sauna was the best I have been in. Breakfast was perfectly adequate. I didn’t dine in the restaurant but Easy Pizza next door was good. Location convenient for all attractions and we walked everywhere except the zoo which was an easy tram ride. Definitely recommend. "
