"We chose to stay here as we had stayed here a week earlier. Our second stay not as great as the first- we were given an accessible room (which we did not book) -this was easily fixed by the staff, however, the room wasn’t great. The aircon control was hanging off the wall and was freezing, and as we were unable to control the temp we had to turn it off which then made the room hot and stuffy. There also were broken bulbs in the overhead lights and only one mug for tea/coffee which was replaced,...

"The Horizon was lovely. It was quiet and the service was excellent. The parking was a little tricky having to park across at Skycity, navigate a couple of lifts and walk through the Sky bridge to get back to the Horizon, but that become easy enough after a couple of days. The pillows were very big and uncomfortable and the polyester duvet inner felt quite cheap. But the beds were very comfortable! Overall would recommend. "

"Good stay here. The construction around the hotel wasn’t too bad as we were just on foot. Room was comfy and quiet and it was very easy to get around the city from our location by bus or walking. Great to be so close to All Blacks Experience and Wēta Workshop. Sky Drive to Airport was also convenient. "

"Auckland was the last stop on our 26-day vacation and this was definitely the right hotel to end with. Every staff member I interacted with was friendly and helpful. The room was wonderful, with a nice view of the harbor. If you are arriving in a car (not taxi or Uber), one thing to watch out for is that they don't really have a driveway in front of the hotel. Just 2 small parking spots where you can pull in, check-in or out, pack or unpack. But if they are busy you might have to make a few laps...
