"We checked into to the hotel on Sunday, October 1st after a 5 hour drive. The self check-in worked fine and we retreived our key. However, upon entering the room, we discovered that the room had not be cleaned from the prior guest. The sheets were dirty, there were pizza boxes in the trash, the towel were wet, and there was hair in the shower pan. "Location was right on the waterfront and had a beautiful view. There was probably a 5-10 minute walk to find food other than the hotel restaurant - which seemed nice, we just didn't want to eat there. Staff was very friendly and helpful."

Great base for touring the Rhine valley

"Excellent location slap bang in the centre. Excellent breakfast with lots of hot and cold choices. Room was small but comfortable bed. Well kitted our room but could have done with some coat hooks. Main issue was that room was not cleaned every day and even had to ask for toilet paper when it ran out. Attention to detail would have helped, such as leaving the outside light on so i could get my key in the lock. Staff polite but not welcoming. As a solo traveller I would have welcomed a little more friendly chatting. I speak German so language was not an issue. "
