"I spent 3 nights in the Surf Room & I cannot recommend it highly enough. This guesthouse is a haven especially after sightseeing all day. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet & nicely decorated. Windows open to the garden courtyard so it was quiet & nice view. Kettle, fridge & TV is always great when travelling solo. "We found the location to be in easy walking distance of all major. Whilst quite grand in appearance from the photos the interior is actually a little dated and although there was a lift to our floor we still had a number of steep stairs to negotiate with large suitcases. It was difficult to locate anyone for the front desk even at the times stated as "staffed". Verona is delightful"

"Il Relais dell'Abazzia is a wonderful B&B in the quieter area of San Zeno, about 10 mins walk away from the madness of the city centre. Our room was very ample, well appointed and spotlessly clean. Breakfast were freshly prepared each morning and they were plentyful and very nice. Françoise was the perfect host, helping us in any way she could. Would recommend without hesitation."
