"Greatocation for access to all areas of Yellowstone. Room was spacious,.comfortable and the little fridge was handy. Coin operated laundry nearby too. Staff were friendly and helpful, had to wait to check-in due to being very busy, but all went smoothly."

"Everything was fantastic. Our only issue was that the hot tub was not functioning one afternoon. Otherwise, perfect. Perfect location, perfect room with a kitchen, the heated floors in the bathroom were an excellent touch. And the fresh baked chocolate chip cookies were…perfect. "

"This property has three types of accommodations - the hotel itself, cabins and a lodge which are all close to the main hotel. The main hotel does not offer king beds and if you want this type of room, you will be assigned to the lodge. This building was once used to house staff. That tells you all you need to know - bare bones, but decent. No staff are onsite at the lodge. It is primarily for sleeping. There are 4 chairs in a little sitting area right by the front door. "Excellent stay overall! The only cleanliness issue was that the bathroom mirror wasn’t thoroughly cleaned. You could see streaks where they only could reach so high. All staff was attentive to our needs and friendly. We do highly recommend the restaurant and room service. We had dinner both nights of our stay and every dish was delicious. We were thrilled the weather cooperated with a beautiful snowfall upon our departure. "

"From the pictures I thought the cabin was going to be small. It was bigger than expected and roomy for a 1 bedroom cabin. Great amount of towels, extra blankets, kitchen supplies. I didn’t need to pack as much as I did, they had it all! Will stay here again. "

"One of the most historic old lodges!"

"The transportation service to and from the JH Mountain Resort. Efficient on time. This is the second year we have stayed at the 49er Hotel and we have had the same bus driver , Jeff, not sure of his last name, but he is a wonderful driver."
