"Perfect location and view, friendly helpful staff. Good amenities and restaurant. Really liked that you book the sauna just for you each time. The only negative was parking. Not enough, whats there is filled all day and evening with day tourists to the pools so on returning to the hotel in an evening we had to park elsewhere and then go out last thing and move the car if a space had freed up to save getting a fine in the morning."

"Nice place to stay outside of the hustle/bustle of Funchal, close to hikes. Construction on beachfront supposed to be done by early summer according to locals. Great restaurants, bar and bakery on the street for evening options, but a bit limited for longer stays. Hot tub was really nice set up, but had wildly ranging temperatures from 32 degrees Celsius to 47 at one point, so was often not really usable. "This hotel was our ‘splash’ for the trip and it absolutely delivered. Very friendly and professional welcome at the Reception desk, checked in early with no qualms at all, beautifully clean rooms with good amenities and amazing views. We loved the cliff side location with views over the dramatic Madeira’s coast. Impressive breakfast spread tended by staff who were very well trained. We enjoyed the pool/ hot tub though felt a little rushed after the day as it closed at 8pm… perhaps 9pm would give...
