"A hidden gem of a hotel. Beautiful building, lovely surroundings. My only reason for not giving it a 5 across the board was that there was a private party in one of the function rooms. Not an issue in itself, however I felt the staff were stretched quite thin as a result and the service was quite slow at dinner, to the point that we had to keep trying to find someone to serve, get the bill etc. Other than that, we had a great time and it wouldn’t deter me from coming back "
