"建物は新しくないハズですが、古さを感じない位に綺麗にされています。システム上は小学生の子供含む3人1部屋での予約は出来ませんが、先に電話で相談すると、大人2名で予約入れてメッセージ欄に子供の件を書き込んでおくと対応してくれます。朝食に関しては品数は少ないですが、ビュッフェスタイルになっています。宿泊者はロビー横のスペースにあるフリードリンク（宿泊者以外は有料）とマッサージチェアが無料で使用出来る点はオススメだと思います。"

"Hotel was located within the shopping street and needed walking from nearby stations. Also within walking distance to the pontocho alley. for sightseeing, you would need to walk to the crowded bus stop. Room was considered spacious by normal Japanese standards but it was also more expensive during the Sakura season. There is a special bathtub with sit down area for shower. Overall, convenient but on the pricey side for 4 star hotel. There is also an additional accommodation tax. "

My favorite accommodation in Japan!

"We stayed at Hotel Gran Ms Kyoto for several nights of our 2-week trip to Japan and it was a highlight. Everything was so nice, clean, and comfortable, and it was really nice to be able to share a bed with my partner since we stayed in several twin rooms! The location was great- an easy 5-10 minute walk to Nishiki Market and the most centrally located. Wifi was fast, free water for drinking, and the price you can’t beat. Would absolutely recommend!"

"This property is next to a fire dept and you constantly hear the sirens all the time they put us in front of it you hear many traffic and the fire dept sirens very loud, we asked for a different room and our view was appts in front of us so we ended up not opening our window curtains at all to have privacy. Not too many places near by we had to use taxis all the time, they only have one test and one bar that closes very early. "

"The room is very clean and quiet, comfortable , and beautifully kept traditional Gion room. The staffs are very kind and polite. Their dinner course meals were amazing! The Gion Ryokan is located in the center of the old Gion neighborhood , and the hotel was above than my expectations. "
