"This is a tough review to write. A mix of good and bad. We didn't get off to a great start. We and 2 other couples arrived by ferry. walked to the property, and then waited about 40 mins to check in and weren't offered air conditioned room or a cold drink while we waited. the owner had something else (private) he needed to do, and it didn't occur to him to leave keys or instructions for us. "I was unable to get taxi service to respond. If I did not know someone in the area I would have been stuck at the hotel. It is not within walking distance to stores or restaurants. It took several hours to get a response from staff and I was never able to access laundry. It was very relaxing, quiet and clean. The property was beautiful. "

"We always choose this hotel when we are in transit, it is convenient for last minute shopping, ferries, bus and taxi station. The bar and reception staff are friendly cheerful and always ready to give helpful advice.
