"Great hotel. Try to avoid rooms on the south side as it faces the fire and ambulance station— especially if you are a light sleeper. Otherwise and even including this, it’s a great hotel."

"It was a great staying. Location is in walking distance to Umekōji-Kyōtonishi Station 梅小路京都西駅. Bus stops are near by. We tried 3 restaurants in the hotel, all were delicious. The spa is nice, kids love it very much."

"Didn’t like the pool/spa only opens @1:30pm and that you must pay separately(same for laundry) Other than that loved it "

"Wonderful hotel. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was included with our room and delicious every day! There are limited restaurants 5-10 minutes away, so we grabbed taxis or Ubers for the more popular areas. Would absolutely stay here again next time we are in Kyoto!"

"Very close location to Kyoto Station. We upgraded to a King si,e bed. Room was larger than most with great shower and bathtub. The bed was typically a little hard for me but many will love it. The hotel gave me an extra duvet to often it for my back. The breakfast buffet is outstanding."

"We loved our stay at the hotel but the blinds that were not blackout made it a bit difficult to sleep. If the blinds were blackout I think our sleep quality would improve. Overall we would stay again."

"The hotel was beautiful from the entrance itself to the staff, I felt bad every single time we went in or out they bow and say stay safe outside, and welcome back, also the most shocking part was this kind staff member her name escapes me, but she spoke English, Spanish, French and Japanese it was an amazing shock and she was magnificent, highly recommend this hotel along with the amazing food nearby like Fiveran Bakery and Ramen Mugyu Vol. 2 Karasuma Takoyakushi!"
