"Great location. Older style hotel and our initial room was very poor and we were moved to an excellent room because the air conditioning didn’t work in the first one. The second room had excellent beds, aircon and space. The staff service was impeccable, particularly Miss Watanabe as she helped us with many things like booking restaurants and finding a good Onsen. The breakfast staff were also wonderful as were the cleaning staff and others at reception. The hotel is old but obviously some rooms...

"Hotel was about a 15 minute walk from railway station. Check in was good. We had room 815 it was facing the water. Beds firm and were able to get bigger firmer pillows. Room size was comfortable. Breakfast was wonderful lots of choices."

"Amazing hotel in Niigata! Great service from the staff. They have a person who will greet you when you enter. Another person waiting at the elevator. Reception staff are very kind and friendly. Hotel accommodation is great. View of Niigata city is very nice. Across from the hotel is the Bandai pier where you can find the seafood market and the street food. Close to Niigata station. "
