Motel One is a good chain but I think NA visitors might hesitate because of the name - motel conjures up cheap and a roadside stopover. Motel One is NOT that. Modern, clean, comfortable, central. Excellent value for $. Highly recommend. Oh, great showers and nice fluffy towels!

Lovely hotel, great staff, comfy bed, clean and tidy. Could do with an upgrade, or at least a full upgrade as I think the photos show upgraded rooms but we felt we got an older room. Still clean and tidy but burn marks in the carpets and marks on the walls in the bathroom. Didn't feel dirty and the bed was well made and very comfy and did us for the purpose we were there. Not a five star hotel but did the job. Skip breakfast though. If necessary, pay for it at the time of booking but £13.50 per person for continental is a bit steep. Brilliant wee cafe on the corner (left as you come out the hotel and walk towards the main road) called blakes and it was fantastic. 2 full breakfasts with a juice, coffee and water was £20. Would consider the hotel in future if we needed a cheap space for the night.

This hotel was dog friendly and a very good price. The staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet breakfast very good. Excellent value and excellent facilities.
