"Uma Galih Ubud Villa is wonderful. The property itself seems so private, with a personal entrance gate, walled-in villa (with amazing high ceilings that become musical during evening showers rain on the roof), and a lovely swimming pool. "The stay was very pleasant and comfortable. The Villa provided us with everything we needed. The host stayed back for us to do late check-in and orientated us through the Villa. The breakfast was included during the stay which is very convenient and it offers both local and western style. Special thank you to Gungde who is so kind and thorough with the service and I cannot recommend this place enough."

"The design and grounds of this hotel are fantastic, but over the years no money has been spent on upkeep so everything is quite worn and shabby. It’s a shame, with a little money and refresh and a better restaurant, this would be an amazing resort. "

"The property is beautiful, although the rice field was a cross a road. So the view of the rice field from our Villa was not what I thought when I saw the on line pictures. The staff were friendly and helpful. My wife and I were celebrating our 36th wedding anniversary and they gave us a welcome cake which was a nice touch. The only reason I am giving a 4 star instead of 5 is the location. You had to be picked up by a golf cart from the drop zone since the villas were further down inside...

"the hotel was beautiful and every aspect was perfected to offer traditional balinese hospitality. It had been 8 years since i was in Ubud, and I couldn't believe how much busier it had gotten and the traffic was grossly congested, making getting around enjoyable difficult. We also didn't like how tourist some aspects had become and obvious money making opportunities were a bit off putting outside the hotel. we also got very unwell. "
