"There were gorgeous, steep, well maintained trails behind the property to the river below. Also a fabulous variety of birds. Everything else was hit and miss, including the Wi-Fi connection (or not). We had a meal that was among the best, and another that was among the worst during our 10-day stay in Costa Rica. Staff was not exactly friendly, not exactly hostile. The amenities we had were extraordinary considering how remote this property is, but the experience was overall uneven. "

"What a treat! This hotel is definitely worth the trip up the mountains! We stayed for one night in the superior tent and it was amazing! The view, the service, the jacuzzi, the hospitality.
