"The property was a taxi ride from the main area of Havana but taxis were organised very easily. the rooms and en suite bathrooms were large and the bed very comfortable. shower a bit temperamental but it didn't matter. The house was full of old and interesting artefacts and the main guy spoke really good English and was very helpful. breakfast seemed to be whenever we wanted it and was basically anything we wanted. Very good coffee! Our stay was overall excellent"

"Second time guest. Best place in Havana. Mirexis, Diana, and Andy are most awesome hosts. Clean house, clean rooms, backyard paradise. They arrange taxi, restaurants, etc. Excellent bar / restaurant just around the corner. Hated to leave. "

The staff are exceptional - knowledgeable, supportive, and available to endure a great visit. The neighborhood is edgy and therefore colorful and vibrant but also requires street smarts. Everything is walkable though and you’re in the heart of Havana, not a tourism representation. "

"Havana Dream is a lovely oasis in Old Havana. The people were friendly and helpful. The only things which were not as advertised was that the bed is a queen and not king size but what we were told is that they don’t have king size. Also wifi is terrible in Cuba so it is not the 500 Mbps as advertised. More like 2-3 Mbps which I guess you get everywhere. It is safe and private."

"Yuni was very helpful to us throughout our stay. She arranged for transportation, provided recommendations for activities and changed money for us. A lovely breakfast of fresh fruit, eggs, toast, juice and coffee was served each morning. Our rooms were cleaned daily. Shower pressure and water temperature was great! Air conditioning worked well. We felt very safe."

They show pictures of other places (eg the 5-star Hotel Nacional, on the opposite side of town) and other scenes unrelated to the property. The description is also misleading - no garden, no terrace, no bar facilities. I could go on. But the hostess was friendly and very helpful; our stay was limited and we spent little time there beyond the nights. For this it was adequate and clean. It is well located and quiet. Close to...

Great hotel

"Great small hotel near the historic district of Cuba with a great restaurant on the roof. The location was within walking distance of many touristy things. One downside - if you need a cab in the morning, make sure to set it up the day before - this isn't in a heavy-hotel area so taxis aren't around. "
