"The hotel is very nice and cleaned. The reception staff are all nice, the service is ok too but the only downside side is the sauna area and the staff there, they don’t even accompany us there which room to open, as this is our first time in this hotel, I accidentally open the door I think that is for a staff room, and the sauna is not as what I expected in other hotel. Its not hot, its old. "

"The property is in a lovely area and next to the Opera House. The beach is a public beach and it would have been nice if you could use the beach a bit more i.e. with sunbeds etc. The staff are really lovely and cannot do enough for you. The housekeeping in the room was a little hit and miss, but always clean. A good selection of restaurants and also within easy walking distance of a small mall with coffee shops and outside restaurants if you don't want to eat in the hotel."

"We were upgraded to a fabulous 2 bed suite. The staff are amazing, so helpful. The restaurants produce high quality food. We’ve stayed in this hotel before and it is consistently a high quality experience. The downsides are low water pressure which meant showering takes a long time and the condition of the beach, lots of plastic debris and there was an algae bloom during our trip, completely out of anyone’s control of course, but the beach should be cleaned daily. The hotel should focus more on reducing the use of single use plastic water bottles, they use 1000’s a day and there are better, more cost effective options. . Oman is expensive to visit so travellers should be aware of the costs involved when planning their trip. We used to live here so were prepared."
