"Kids loved the pool/hot tub! Great to have a restaurant onsite. Many bugs. Cleaning below par. Room had finger nails and a safety pin left on the floor, after cleaned again you could tell the floor was simply mopped and the yuck and nails and pin were along the wall after they were done. "

But the hotel is located in a part of town that feels run down and lifeless though efforts have been made to revitalize the area. It was convenient for us to spend a delightful day on Gabriola Island but I did feel eager to wander the area near the hotel."

"This property is very well groomed and very lovely. It is conveniently situated near shopping,etc. The breakfast is more extensive then a continental breakfast as advertised for which we were pleasantly happy about! Very nice hot tub as well! Would consider coming back."
