"We loved staying at this property. Comfortable beds, and the villa was immaculate. Our kids loved having the outdoor shower(s) and private pool. If other people were staying on the property, we didn't see them. We did not rent a 4wheel drive vehicle, which is highly recommended. The road leading to the villa was VERY steep. We were fine, but if it had rained during our stay we might have a different opinion on that choice!"

"We loved staying here! It’s secluded, intimate, and just picture-perfect. Abner was a great host and responded to small hiccups we experienced throughout the stay. There’s no light pollution so the stars shine bright and the howler monkeys made their presence known at night. The view in the morning is something to write home about. "Very clean cabin with amenities--fridge and cooking supplies. Screened in porch providing excellent view. For the enterprising you can walk into town easy enough that feels safe during the daytime. San Ignacio is a brisk 25 minute walk downhill. Hosts very friendly, helpful, and communicative."

"This is the place to go if you enjoy hiking with a view. The property itself is spectacular, with plenty of waterfalls within hiking distance and a gorgeous night sky. The food there is also great. The bathrooms could be a bit more private, and the hot tub could use some upgrades but the experience more than makes up for it. Oh, it also gets cold here at night, bring a jacket. "

"All of the staff, be they front desk receptionist, servers, hired guides, grounds keepers, stable hands or gardeners could not be more accommodating, welcoming, friendly, proactive, or efficient. Super Cute Property with Incredible Staff

"I adored my stay here and wish I could have stayed longer. First, the staff are AMAZING. So warm, so helpful, so lovely. I am someone who always has a million questions and does silly things like not know how to lock my door-- they were there for all of it with a smiling face. 11/10 staff experience here. Second, the property is so cute! All the nature around the accommodation is awesome. I was told you can sometimes see Toucans in the front tree! While I didn't witness them, if you go be on the lookout :) Third, the location. It is *right* by one the Mayan ruin sites, which makes for a lovely morning adventure (before all the crowds rush in). I will say that this location is at the top of a giant hill.... so there is a trade off of having the peace and quiet/nature with the amenities of being directly in town. I ended up walking down the hill (into downtown) and then taking a taxi ($5 USD) back up one night, and then walked the other times. I would absolutely stay here again. I was traveling as a solo female traveler and had not one issue. Highly recommend."

"Enjoyed our stay very much. Loved the beautiful bedspread and red sheets. Staff was friendly and wonderful! Room was clean and very comfortable. We had a car and parking was available and easy. The only complaint is that the pool was not open and there was loud construction going on. Didn’t spend a lot of time in room. Would stay here again. Would highly recommend. "

"Dream Valley was beautiful. Stayed in a King room on the river and watched the parrots in the morning and listened to the howler monkeys. We would take a dip in the pool after a full day of activities. Anderson was awesome:). The only thing they could not accommodate us with was a massage. I guess you need to book way in advance. But not a deal breaker. We would definitely go back."

"At Sweet Songs you will enjoy a lovely setting, tranquility, and outstanding service. Having the botanical garden next door is a bonus. Xunantunich and other attractions are not far away. The only concern is the rough road to reach the jungle lodge, but that is certainly not a reason to pass on this wonderful resort."
