"I had a great experience staying at Gran Palette Hakodate. I arrived on a day when a fierce storm was raging. Although the walk from the tram stop to the hotel wasn’t far in distance, it felt incredibly long due to the heavy snow, which left me a bit exhausted. Once I got inside the hotel, however, I was greeted by staff who were full of energy and dedication. "The hotel is near Hakodate train and bus station(You can take bus to HKD). There's morning market in next block of this hotel for seafood. Hakodate does not have underground so taking bus or tram may be easier to get to the attractions. Just be aware of the time. The breakfast is good and good to have in winter time (you don't want to go out in cold winter morning). "
