"The exterior was very unattractive. We were in an inside facing room and the walkways were dirty and noisy. It looked like a New York tenement building. The bed linens were stained and the main ceiling light was not working. The telephone was not connected. It took me about 20 minutes to check in with a line of people waiting to check in that went all the way to the entrance door. The advertisement for the motel said free breakfast but there was no breakfast supposedly because of the remodel but there was no remodelling."

Our fault for not checking the confirmation email, but we booked a second stay in Sacramento and Hotels.com did the same thing on a second reservation. So the issue we have is not with the hotels, but rather with Hotels.com. "
