"We had a very nice 2-day stay in a room on the 1st floor. Luckily a member of staff was available to carry our 2 heavy suitcases up the stairs, as we were surprised to find there was no lift. Breakfast was very good with lots of choice of hot and cold food."

"If you are looking for a "motel" one night stay type thing this could be alright. The area isn't great, but security is good. I thought the actual room was pretty nice, although there were one or two stains lying around, I liked the bathroom. My highlight was definitely the friendliness of the staff, and the thing I disliked the most was the difficulty I had sleeping as a result of the noisy hotel guests. "

"Beautiful property. We went on an afternoon game drive and a morning horse ride. The horse I rode was a well trained thoroughbred with spirit but restrain. I rode up to zebra, impala and wildebeest. One of the most enjoyable rides I’ve ever been on. There is a wide variety of game on the reserve and we were given an excellent tour by a very knowledgeable guide. "We were thoroughly thrilled with Ilita Lodge! Perched high up on a hill, Ilita Lodge delivers splendid views of the ocean & the Great Brak River,, wonderful comfort, security & fabulous food! The only disappointment is that the GPS takes you on a very long un paved road to reach your destination, so go the other route! Otherwise we would definitely rebook there again! Friendly & helpful staff only make this lodge even more comfortable…"
