"I would have given it 5 stars because of the kind owner, however my last night was ruined by very inconsiderate and loud guests; they were up and chatting boisterously until after midnight! I ended up restless and not ready for my trip the following day. I’m guessing it’s with the nature of the building with no sound proofing installed, so I hope there were signages everywhere to be respectful to other guests given this status."

"Great location just opposite the cathedral so a view of the cathedral. Got a little noisy at times but can’t complain as the location was fantastic, walking distance to everything. Apartment was clean and very spacious, but the building is very old so not looking perfectly new but I think that’s to be expected and overall excellent value for money."

"The apartment is facing the waterfront -Porto Antico. The view cannot be described and it’s breathtaking in every time of day. Very close to the Old Town. Police is everywhere so you feel safe wherever you are. The apartment itself was clean but the bathroom not super clean - found some remains of hair in the shower. "Great location, 400m from the train station. Beautiful room, newly renovated. Marble bathroom with waterfall shower. Very spacious. Lobby is in the adjacent building. Great European style continental breakfast in gorgeous breakfast room with frescoed ceilings.The hotel upgraded our room at no extra fee. Very friendly receptionists and staff. There was a clothes line right outside our window. Lots of food options in this area and tourist attractions. Only negative would be no A/C since they haven't yet transitioned from heat to cooling, no English or French channels on TV and the WiFi was a bit spotty. Bad reception if lying on the bed, good near the door, excellent outside the room in lounging chair next to room 407."

"Warm welcome for non Italian speaking Australian guests. Brilliant views from our room. Much better than the photos. Room very clean and everything in good condition. Nice linen and towels. Very nice €20 three course set dinner menu. Would happily return and recommend to friends. "

"I loved this hotel. Perfectly situated above the plaza and train station and at the end of the street, full of restaurants and things to see and do and a great view and wonderful staff and convenient and clean and an excellent value for the money. I loved this hotel. I stay at three star hotels to five star hotels and this was the perfect hotel for the visit to Genoa Italy. "

"We stayed 2 nights before our cruise and one night after. The personnel were very nice and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The hotel is next to the train station. 15 minute walk to the port and 20 minutes car ride to the airport. Walking distance to everthing. I would diffinently go back to this hotel if I were to go bake to Genoa."
