Unprofessional office staff. My partner who checked us in left cash deposit and when I went to pick it up was told he didn’t put a deposit down. Told the lady of course he did bc it’s mandatory and wouldn’t have been given the key without it. I called him and he came in the office. She then “found” the deposit.

DO NOT STAY HERE! Was visiting from out of town…informed the office the sink would not drain, no one ever came to check it our entire stay. Wash cloths stained, garbage under the chair, carpet turned my socks black, joining room door would not close properly, hangers rusty. The main reason I say DON’T STAY is bc there was an ashtray stand outside our room door and we were charged for smoking in the room bc the manager said the room smelled like cigarette smoke and when we said no we didn’t smoke (I don’t smoke plus I’m in my mid 50s so I’m responsible enough not to or own up to it if I did) she said it smelled like strong perfume was sprayed to try and cover it up. I do layer… my shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and body spray from bath & body works since I just showered and dressed before checking out I’m sure you could smell where I had used my products. So we were charged for smoking in the room which we definitely DID NOT. Also, the smoking fee is $250.00. I took a picture of the ashtray stand outside the room door but can’t upload here. I don’t see how one person can make that call and charge you, but she said she was the manager.

For a 2 star motel, this was a clean facility and was in acceptable condition. Unfortunately, somewhere not far off is a supposed “paper mill” that began spewing a noxious sulfur odor into the atmosphere around 5/6am. The smell awoke my whole family as it slowly leaked into the room. Once I opened the door outside, the concentration of the odor rushed into the room and was unbearable. When I asked the front desk staff what the awful smell was, they responded by asking “what smell?” Seriously? We then entered the lobby area to get breakfast before leaving only to find that they attempted to mask the odor with heavy fragrance that was unbearable. Why use such heavy fragrance if there is no smell to mask? Overall, the facility was fine, but it’s a Russian roulette staying there not knowing what days this scent is going to be released into the air.

Most of the property was clean and bright. Our room, however, smelled of dirty mop water. Luckily, I had Lysol spray so was able to cover the odor. Everything else was fine. Breakfast in lobby was okay: nothing special.
