"Great place to stay. Great location. The hotel is beautiful, the staff treats you like you are a VIP. We only ate at the Schooners Restaurant on site. The food and staff was excellent. You have the option of eating inside or out. Both nights we ate outside. The heaters kept us warm and we enjoyed the sounds of the crashing waves. We stayed on the fourth floor apparently below the gym, which is on the fifth floor. The gym opens at 6 AM and two out of the three nights we slept there we could hear someone running on the treadmill at 6 AM. The sound was not loud but it was noticeable. We were on the water side and the sea lions were barking all night. We kept the windows closed and the sound was barely noticeable. The rooms are nice. The gym is really good for a hotel gym. I can’t speak about the spa since I didn’t use it. All in all we loved this place and would stay there again."

"The hotel does not have parking but is only a block from the parking garage which was an easy walk to and from the hotel. The hotel is old but well maintained and the staff was so friendly. They do not have a refrigerator in the rooms but they will keep your refridgerate your items and give you ice for a cooler. We stayed in room 403 and our radio kept going off during the night with just static noise and the light flickered.. Haunted??? Great location and walkable to Cannery Row and Fisherman's Wharf. "
