"We’ve just enjoyed a few days at this beautiful hotel, what a find!! Moss is being heavily invested in as an area and as a result we enjoyed a stunning hotel, the spa was incredible, the food was delicious and the staff were really helpful, polite and accommodating to us and our young family. I cannot recommend enough for a few days on a Fijord near Oslo. We’ve stayed in lots of luxury hotels around the world and this one is up there with one of the best. Thank you for such a great time. "

"Interesting historic house, once a nurses home as it’s opposite a hospital! No reception, access via a door code sent to you by SMS on day of arrival. Except mine did not arrive. Had to work out who to phone (security guy) then was told room wasn’t ready. All a bit of a nuisance as we were tired after a long journey. But having spoken to the staff, ten mins later my code arrived. Total delay 20 mins. However, room was fine though very small, with useful kitchenette. All very clean...

"It was OK and reasonably comfortable for one overnight stay. The room was very cold, without apparent thermostat adjustment. The bathroom floor was very cold and my room was in an annex, not as in the advertised photo. It was quiet and the breakfast was good. Staff were very professional and extremely polite. "

"This is a very charming hotel in a small sleepy village. Its a bit of a distance from everything, but a great location by the sea. The staff really tried hard to make yourself comfortable, and the hotel has a great atmosphere. Attentive staff who really wants you to enjoy yourself. We were fortunate enough that one of our rooms where number 36, which had a small but charming balcony very close to the sea, where we enjoyed the sunset every night. "Pleasant surprise, I had been to Moss before and walked past a few times without giving it a second thought. However, having stayed it is a nice hotel, the room was very spacious and well kept. The breakfast options were surprisingly large and varied. A free hot drink when ever you wanted downstairs, the taxi ordering facility either for now or later. The free use of umbrella`s which was very useful on one occasion. All round a genuinely nice hotel with friendly staff, would happily stay again."
