"Warm, friendly welcome by the owner. As it turned out, we were the only visitors staying in the hotel, so had a nice opportunity for a chat over a beer - well stocked with what appeared to be the full range of bottled beers from Purple Moose Brewery of Porthmadog. Food was fantastic - both of us had the lamb which was stunning. Lots of it & full of flavour. The accompanying vegetables were equally full of taste. "We had a lovely 1 night stay. Our family room was excellent. From checking in to checking out, every member of staff was friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely swim in the pool. Lovely food in the brasserie and for breakfast. Would highly recommend - excellent value. "
