"We have stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn at least once a winter for 3 or 4 years. Sadly, feels like this property is going downhill like most major chains do. The hotel itself is still nice and new, however the hallways, rooms and pool area are all lacking. The 2nd floor hallways all smelled heavily of smoke. "My partner & I had the best experience at the Quechee Inn. When we checked in on 1/11, the concierge (wish I caught his name) was so friendly and sweet, and even upgraded us to a larger room! Our room was lovely, and the common area bar & fireplace were wonderful. The complimentary breakfast was also top-notch. We will certainly be back, and highly recommend this place to others."
