"What I did like in the property were: very good food in the restaurant, cleanest of the room always well cleaned (a part from Sunday) the cleaners have a day off. The gym facilities although is very small and it used to be crowded at the end of the day. They probably need to put a second running machine. The all inclusive business is brilliant as the hotel is away from the city. That all inclusive permits guesses to fully enjoy their holiday in the hotel without worrying about where to...

"Barceló Fortina is a well located hotel with excellent facilities, including an excellent gym, spa, restaurants, and access to a lido with beautiful views of Valetta. Well located in Sliema close to restaurants, shops and ferry terminals. The room was large and very comfortable."

"Overall nice place. Very good breakfast. Room was hot in the evening. It had air conditioning, but the concierge refused to turn it on. I slept with the window open and the blind rolled all the way up. Maid didn't replace towels and dirty mugs. She'd tidy the bed though."

"The staff is very welcoming and provided everything needed. The island is lovely. Once they heated the rooftop pool it was good. The food is delicious, many breakfast choices try the pimodoro upstairs or the ravioli in room . There is a water taxi charge if using other hours than shuttle times but easy to arrange or wait for free shuttle times. Highly recommend for the James Bond Italy feel of arrival a water taxi. Enjoyed how kind and friendly everyone on the island is to guests. "
