"The location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. Our flight from Vancouver (YVR) arrived very early—around 5:00 AM—and we headed straight to the hotel. The Shangri-La staff went above and beyond, graciously checking us into our room by 10:00 AM, which was such a blessing after a long flight. While we waited, they offered us access to the change rooms so we could freshen up and change—such a thoughtful touch. Our room featured a stunning view of the city and was spotless, beautifully decorated, and surprisingly spacious. We chose to include breakfast with our stay, and it turned out to be the best decision—no exaggeration, the breakfast buffet was expansive and filled with the most delicious options! We truly felt spoiled staying at the Shangri-La and are so glad we chose it. We’ll definitely be back one day. Bonus tip: If you’re visiting on a Sunday, the main roads close down in the morning for pedestrians—you can run, walk, or bike through the city. It’s such a unique and fun experience! "
