"Very relaxing and comfortable stay in the countryside near Sarlat. The room was small but comfortable and with all amenities. Very quiet in an old country home. A great French breakfast was included and you can order dinner (be sure to ask the host in the morning) with fresh and high quality local delicacies. The host was also very friendly and helpful. We recommend for anyone looking to taste the Périgord countryside!"

"Lovely location near town, with delicious breakfast and comfy room! FYI, parking access is tricky, as steep, skinny, and sharp turns (not good for larger vehicles, be comfy reversing around curve, and try to arrive first time in daylight!), but instructions are clear. Just a heads-up! It’s not a reason to avoid as the guest experience is top notch!! "

"Incredible hotel. This hotel has been recently renovated to a very high standard, especially the Maraval Suite which is perfect for families. The staff at the hotel, especially Laurie, are very helpful. The swimming pool is heated and perfect for both relaxing and swimming lengths. The spa area is very nice too. "The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. "We had a really lovely stay here. It was off season, cold and wintery and the rooms are a bit old fashioned, but the price was very reasonable and the room was perfectly clean and in good condition. The location is very convenient and it's nice next to the little park. Laetitia made us feel extremely welcome. In warmer weather it must be amazing, with the restaurant and terrace open! I surely hope to come back some day."
