"This is a perfect little gem not far from the city. The breakfast was exceptional. The room quite spacious and the bathroom is renovated and clean. Would especially like to thank Luciano for his endless hospitality, friendly disposition and great breakfast conversations. I would definitely return to the lodging, and would strongly recommend it! "Nice place. Very hospitable host. Good parking. Excellent breakfast. The home is older with thin walls. Another guest had a cold, I assume, and we listened to him blow his nose (or honk it) vigorously for hours. Same with toilet flushing, teeth brushing and shaving. We could hear it all. But the actual host and property is very nice. "

"Morgan was very attentive and showed us where to park and then helped with our luggage. Room and bathroom were large and extremely clean with a lovely balcony. Breakfast was delicious especially the omelette. Morgan suggested a great restaurant for dinner. Without doubt one of the best B&B’s we stayed in during our trip to Sicily. We highly recommend staying here."

"This is a lovely property in a charming area of old town. Parking is off site about a 10 minute walk. Our host was very informative about how to drop bags and get to parking. He was very helpful with info about the area and dining suggestions. Rooms are up stairs, no elevator."

"We loved this property. Located in the beautiful countryside of Pergusa, La Casa del Poeta is a great place to unwind after a day of site seeing. It is centrally located between Enna and Piazza del Romano and only an hour from Agrigento and the Valley of Temples. The host, Guiliana, was wonderful sharing information about the area and providing recommendations for food, sights and travel. The breakfast is included with lots of options to choose from. We will definitely be staying here again...

"The staff at Suite d’auttore were so nice and helpful and pleasure to interact with. They recommended a fantastic restaurant (also very friendly) and showed me everywhere I should go in the city. The location could not be more central. I recommend giving them a call beforehand on where to park (very close) and the best way to arrive. "

"The room was nice. Had everything we needed. Language barrier aside, the staff were friendly. Breakfast was delicious. Our passports were held overnight which was disconcerting, but normal I hear. My only complaint is the motion sensor light in the stairwell shut off mid staircase leaving us to use our cell phone lights to get up to our room."

"The best thing about the stay was Luana. She was helpful, knowledgeable and helpful. The heating unit did not heat the room sufficiently and the floors were way too cold. Rugs would have helped. It would also be helpful to have separate heating in the bathroom along with hotter water for the shower."

"The pictures on the website look very welcoming and clean. In person this room was pretty much the crappiest stay of my life. The bed was so incredibly uncomfortable. the sheets were hopefully clean but the blanket had a white substance on it. The room smelled so bad of dust and chemicals it burned my nose all night and I was Ike up with a horrible headache that I can’t get rid of. The room was renovated 8 years ago but it is not kept up… definitely not cleaned properly for a nightly rental....
