"Lovely public space in the hotel. Staff all very friendly and efficient. We had an amazing breakfast. The beds were very comfortable but we marked the facilities down purely based on a very squeeky bed, however we were only there for 1 night so didn't give management the chance to sort it. I'm sure they would have done. Would definitely stay there again. Lovely little town too. "

"Arrived Saturday afternoon for the usual two night stay. Receptionist welcoming, friendly and quick to book are party in Spotless, with all the necessary amenities needed. The only problem was the meal in the restaurant that evening was well below standard, food was just warm and the fish approx 25%fish 75 oily batter. Highly recommend this hotel. Will be staying several times in future. A great break.😁👍 "

"The Moat House was a revelation, I was expecting high quality but it was better than that, literally everything was perfect. The room, view, staff, food, even to the extent that the biscuits in my room were gluten-free! (I had told them in advance I couldn’t have gluten but only expected this to be noted at breakfast!)
